Ran, Marathon’s technology expert, has over 25 years of hi-tech management experience
in start-ups. His love of technology began in the Israeli Air Force, where he served in an
elite unit that developed training programs using the latest technologies. Ran understood
the impact these dynamic tools could have on training and education.
Since then, serving in executive positions in several hi-tech companies, he has developed
tools and methods that enable cost-effective development of customized products.
He has managed and implemented several multi-million dollar e-learning projects.
These include Edusoft and Berlitz’s English Discoveries and the Q Group and Malenberg’s New Neighbors.
Ran’s expertise in digital content, international standards and a wide variety of technologies serves him well as he leads and manages multi-disciplinary teams of programmers, developers, designers and graphic artists.
